Duy Khanh was first known in 1955  thanked to the song "Trang Thanh Binh" for which he won the 1st place in a vocal competition hosted by Radio Phap A (Hue). He and Ms. Tuyet Mai made a perfect dual  that everyone must have loved with the song "Tia Em, Ma Em"
