In my view the most endearing image of Marilyn. That famous night where in front of hundreds of people and photographers the lovely Marilyn struggled with and finally gave up trying to control that untamable white dress. Only Marilyn could look good in a pair of white panties that even your granny wouldn't buy!

This incident in the view of many of Marilyn's biographer's put the final nail in the coffin of her marriage to Joe DiMaggio, who had to listen to the various comment's from those watching the scene.
