Dear visitor, I want to express my gratitude for your support of my program but now I have to say that project is closed until there will be enough funds and information. Last release was compiled more than year ago. I was trying to find support from the municipal committee but there was only silence. All information located on the CD came from illegal sources or Internet. And it was interesting but not useful. CD that was released differs from the demo that you can find on this site only by full map (now you can get access to the map from the map section), phone database that is 4 years old and about hundred of photos. Books, press, TV and reference services are the main sources of the information about our city. But you can meet some problems while searching necessary information. The multimedia reference book "By streets of the Krivoy Rog 2000" contains various sorted and edited documents, databases and images. Application opens a wide opportunity of searching and navigation through sections that let find all necessary data instantly. The program is designed to provide access to the various authentic information about city, to let inhabitants and visitors of Krivoy Rog know its history, sights and city life today, to bring an opportunity of fast information searching. The program consists of four main sections: "Excursion", "Map", "Phonebook" and "Reference book". The first section is devoted to the history of our city, its past, present and future. It consists of subsections: "History Pages", "City today", "Showplaces", and "Archive". "History Pages" covers a period from mankind appearance up to our days; the narration about today's Krivoy Rog weekdays proceeds in section "City today". While visiting to "Showplaces", it is possible to enjoy beautiful nature of our city, monuments and excellent people. "Archive" contains various documents, photos, video and audio data devoted to Krivoy Rog. "Map" section is intended for work with Krivoy Rog map. With the help of screen buttons it is possible to make elementary operations: moving, scaling, as well as measuring distance between points on map and searching among map objects such as largest shops, monuments, railroad station etc. "Phonebook" contains private phone numbers, organization phones as well as list of emergency phones. With the help of a search system you can find required phone number or it's owner using search mask. You can receive information about various spheres of business activity using "Reference book" section. Program is equiped with navigation bar that enables quick moving between sections and context help. THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
