A Little About Me

Well after three years of having this web site I have finally decided to let the people of the web know a little bit about me, so here goes. I was born in Portland Oregon Jan. 9, 1979, which would make me currently 20 years old. I got my first dirt bike in the summer of 1989. It was an old rusty pile of shit Honda 1978 XR75. Oh but I had lots of fun on that bike. Then in the fall of 1991 I got what I considered to be my first real bike, a Honda 1986 CR80. Not knowing really how to maintain a 2-stroke bike I ended up blowing the engine up about 4 times in the first year of owning it. However I finally learned a little bit about the bike and was able to keep it in good running condition for the next 3 years. By the summer of 1995 I had pretty much growen to big for my little 80 and it was time to jump up. I said screw the 125cc and jumped right to the 250. I bought a 1984 Husky CR250 for $500! It ran good, a little balky, but it had balls. I rode this bike hard for 2 1/2 years. Then i sold it for $900. I went about 6 months before i bought my next bike. Finally what I had always dreamed of. In May of 1998 I bought the mother of all bikes! A 1994 CR500 Since then I have put an FMF gold series pipe on it and an FMF turbine core II spark arrestor. Re-jetted the carb to run trick racing gas in it. Rebuilt the top end with a wiseco piston and bored the cylinder 10 over. Put a boyesen rad valve in with boyesen reeds. Had FMF do head port modifications. This bike is a dirt eating missile! all i need now is new plastic and a new seat to make it look all good.
