History's Happening

There is no such thing as history!

People develop religious and philosophical beliefs;

based on those beliefs, they establish social, political, and economic systems;

within those systems, they expand their technology;

their technology along with their beliefs and traditions are passed

to later generations through their educational systems and their cultural arts.

Therefore, history is the total experience of all people through all times.

What is more amazing is that History’s Happening NOW!

Human nature does not change.

Dates, costumes, languages, customs, beliefs, levels of technology—

all the incidental things in life change,

but not the way people handle life’s situations.

We can learn from the successes and failures of others.
