Materials: #10 white thread, #6 steel hook, craft glue, stiffener, pin

Directions:
Angel Body
1 - Ch 4, 15 dc in 4th ch from
hook, join to 4th ch of beg ch 4 with a slst
2 - Ch 4 ( this counts as 1st trc
), trc in next 5 sts, ch, 1 turn, (6 trc)
3 - Sc in each st across, ch 4, turn(6
sc)
4 - Trc in 1st sc, (ch 4 and trc in 1st sc form an inc), trc in next 4 sts,
2 trc in last st, ch 1, turn. (8 trc)
5 - Sc in each st across, turn. (8sc)

- Slst in 1st sc, ch4 (counts as 1st trc), trc in each st across, ch 1, turn. (8
trc)
7 - Repeat row 5
8 - Repeat row 6
9 - Sc, picot in 1st st (work sc,
ch 2, insert hook through top 2 loops of sc just made, YO, pull thread thru all 3
loops on hook), sc, picot in next 6 sts, slst in top of turning ch. End off. Weave
in ends.
Wings
1st wing
1 - Ch 7, sc in 2nd st from hook and
each st across, turn. (6sc)
2 - Slst in 1st sc, ch4 (counts as 1st trc), trc in
each st across, ch 1, turn. (6 trc)
3 - Sc in each st across, turn. (6 sc)

- Repeat row 2
5 - Repeat "sc, picot" directions from row 9 of angel
body, x5. End off. Weave in ends.
2nd wing
Working on opposite side
of foundation ch, attach thread with a slst in 1st free loop.
Sc in each loop
across.
Repeat rows 2 - 5 of 1st wing.
Finishing
1 - Tie a short
piece of thread around center of wings - where foundation chain is - and pull tight,
to gather. Secure with a knot, trim ends.
2- Apply a small dab of glue to
knot and glue wings to back of angel just below head.
3 - When glue is dry, stiffen
angel and pin out to dry.
4 - When angel is dry, glue on pin back.
5 - While
waiting for glue to dry, say a prayer.
