We are a band from Milford, CT who are really up and coming. At this time, we are currently working on new songs. We have ten songs now and we are currently looking to release an E.P. probably by next month to 2005.Look for regular updates.
I hope you enjoy the page even though there won't be much on it.
4/23/03: Welcome! Today is the first day of the site and I hope you like the site. I will try to update daily or every 2 days. I will add lyrics and other stuff sooner or later. Have fun and feel free to look around.
4/24/03: Well I looked around today and noticed some mistakes and Chris's profile is now up and running and I hope you like the other profiles also. I will be adding our guitar player, Kevin's, profile either today or tomorrow.

5/8/03: Well, I lied, I am not going to update everyday but still we really haven't done anything in a while. Yesterday we tried out for the Foran Talent Show and it went well. We got the best ovation out of everyone. We all screwed up once or twice but that is because it was our first concert/ live performance but it still was good. At this time we are also working on our logo and our name design. Chris already has finished the logo and I am in the process of the name right now. That is it for now. Oh yeah! The Foran show is on the 23rd not the 28th. See ya later! "March To The Apocalypse! March To The Apocalypse!"
5/28/03: Well, we unfortunately did not make the Talent Show due to being too loud for the jackass teacher's taste and all I have to say is screw her. Well our first show is finally here. On the 30th we will be playing at The Oddfellas in Stratford. We have chosen to do three songs. We will open up with Fear Of Destruction, then March To The Apocalypse, and end it up with Hate Machine. Also, during these periods of slow updating(sorry about that), we have gotten rid of a few songs and we have made some new ones. As of now check out the CD and see the new line up. 7/30/03: Hello, sorry for such a lack of updates but we went on a brief period of hiatus and we took a break for about a month to get everything together. Well, there is tons of news to report as of now as we have been taking care of a lot of business and today there will tons of updates. First off, Jim Davidson is as of now no longer in Silent Spring. Due to lack of commitment we decided to part ways with Jim. No hard feelings, sorry Jim, but it is what we have to do to stay at the same pace we are at right now. In other news, we are finally going into to the studio to record our demo tentatively called Defiance. We will be recording it at Horizon Studio in West Haven, CT. Also check out Tour Dates and you will see that we have a show at the Taste of Milford on Aug 24th. Look around for updates on the front page, Equipment lists, and Tour Dates. See ya!- Jason
7/31/03: The Tour Dates and the Biography have been updated. Also the front page has been updated and we have came up with our demo name, Detriment Upon Society.
2/6/04:WHERE BACK!! Well actually weve never been gone just we have another site that is taking a long time to start so i decided to update here. Where to start, the show at Taste of Milford went great, we had a show at RVP Studios with Caged In (Jims new band), Far From Quiet, and two reggae rappers. That was our best show yet. We have came out with our demo Detriment Upon Society and it didnt come out that good. The audio is alright and we rather forget aboout it. We have added many new things to Fear Of Destruction and March To The Apocalypse. We have four new songs and we got rid of Awakened and added the riffs into one of the four new songs. We have three shows coming up soon. Look at the profiles, tour dates, biography, tour reports, and front page for updates. Silent Spring Returns! Also look for a links page to our friends bands.
8/17/04: The site of Silent Spring finally has been updated. We have done a good amount of things since February. We first had our show in Poughkeepsie with Emmure and Metadox. That show went great amd we got a nice pit going to March To The Apocalypse. We also had a show at RVP where we played all our songs. That went ok but there were some problems. Look in show reports for that. On Jul. 2nd was Chris's Bday party at the Point Beach Club House. That was our best show yet. It went great. The show in Poughkeepsie has been cancelled due to miscommunications. Sorry for everyone who was goin out for that show. We are in the process of setting up a meeting about recording our new E.P. with six songs on it. Look around the site for updates on shows, show reports, and a new links section with our fellow bands around here.
8/17/04: The name of the new E.P. has been set as Through The Shades Of War. We are in the process of also writing a new song for the E.P. that is at the moment Untitled.
