| MOMS Club® is a support group designed just for you, the at-home mother of today! You are interested in the world around you, want a variety of activities for you and your children, and are proud of your choice of at-home mothering for your families! We know, because we're at-home mothers, too! You need a support group that understands your special needs as an at-home mother and we're it! We are the first, largest and fastest growing support group specifically for ALL at-home mothers. |

| History: The MOMS (MOMS Offering Moms Support) Club is an international, nonprofit support group for mothers who stay at home or work part-time. The MOMS Club of Sangamon County - South, IL (for moms in Springfield, Auburn, Chatham, Divernon, Glenarm, Loami, Lowder, New City, Pawnee, Rochester, and Thayer) was founded in June of 2002 and is one of 15,000 chapters world-wide. Activities: Our group has a monthly calendar full of events. All of our meetings and all but one of our monthly activities are during the day, when at-home mothers need the most support. Members are welcome to attend as frequently as they choose. Just a few of the activities our chapter loves doing are: park play days, tours of local attractions, and MOMS Night Out. Invitation: Come visit our next meeting! Our chapter is very open to new members. You probably won’t be the only new person there! Although some of us have lived here for years and are experienced mothers, many of us are new in town or new to motherhood! We all have one thing in common – MOMS Club introduced us to other moms who stay home… the ones who soon became our friends. |

| We believe being a mother shouldn’t isolate you, so you may bring your children with you to all activities. |
| Dues: Dues are $20 a year and pay for supplies, postage, and International MOMS Club registration fees. We are an IRS registered non-profit organization, so any money collected is used exclusively for the club’s programs and projects. All officers and coordinators are volunteers. We understand that being a mother-at-home often means a tight family budget, so if the dues would be a hardship for your family, please talk to one of our Board Members. Join: If you are interested in joining MOMS Club of Sangamon County - South, IL, you may attend two meetings (such as a meeting and a park day – activity groups are for members only!) before you decide to become a member. Details about specific activities are purposely omitted from this website for safety and security reasons.
