In 1984, a volcanic eruption at Mt. St. Hilary near Portland, Oregon awakened beings unlike any the human world had ever seen. Highly evolved transforming robots from a planet called Cybertron. They were the TRANSFORMERS©.

These sentient machines, as alive as any human by their own standards, could think, make cognizant decisions, experience human feelings, embrace sorrow and guilt, and show happiness and amusement. However, not all of these extraterrestrials were benevolent...

The factions were the Autobots and the Decepticons. Trapped in an ages-old civil war from their homeworld, the noble Autobots continue to fight the ruthless Decepticons to this very day, under the leadership of the courageous Optimus Prime and the brutal Megatron.

The year is 2001. The war is at its worst, and now, the humans have joined the battle, fighting to crush the oppressive force of the Decepticons once and for all, and free their world from the bitter and deadly feud, allowing the Autobots to finally return home... and to allow the humans a chance to study the vast advanced technology of Cybertron.

The Decepticons aren't about to go down without a fight, however... oh, no. In this war, where only one shall stand and one shall fall, the battle is only just beginning... and it's just about to get a whole lot worse.
