Greetings from Kevin Cooper 2 Socialist Action Newspaper
In the 20-plus years that I have been imprisoned and on death row
because of
outright lies and corruption, Socialist Action has been out front in
exposing and speaking the truth in all areas of life that affect us
poor and
working-class people.
While the capitalists of this country and world have done everything to
hide
their crimes against humanity from us all, Socialist Action has done
everything to expose the lies and then tell the truth. You have opened
our
collective eyes to the fight for humanity that all of us must be a part
of
if we ever are going to make this world a better place.
We all know how the government tries to mislead us and keep us
uneducated on
the very real issues that determine how we live. Socialist Action has
been
leading us in the right direction so that we can become educated to the
truth in these real life and death issues.
I, Kevin Cooper, am truly honored to know and work with the wonderful
people
of Socialist Action! I wish you a "Happy 20th Anniversary!"
I pray that the next 20 years will bring out more truths and bring
about the
positive change that is truly needed as the first 20 years have! I also
want
to say "thank you" to Socialist Action for doing what the mainstream
news
media has refused to do in my case and in the case of my cultural
brother,
Mumia Abu-Jamal. "Expose the truth and the corruption in both of our
cases!"
Without Socialist Action, the government will kill both of us in
silence,
and without our truths ever being told! The death penalty, and other
issues
that the mainstream want to ignore, are just the type of issues that
Socialist Action refuses to ignore, and for this, as well as for all of
the
great work that you do, you have my utmost respect.
Long live Socialist Action, because the work that you do must be done,
it’s
just that important!
