The purpose of the Minnesota Coursing Association, Inc., is to promote the sport of lure coursing in the State of Minnesota, and to unite sighthound fanciers in the common goal of preserving and enhancing the natural attributes of beauty, grace and speed in purebred sighthounds.

The MCA Board has directed the Technology Committee to use all available tools to get members more involved with the MCA. To that end, we have not only developed and published this web site, but there is also an Egroup set up to enhance communication between the Board and the MCA members. An Egroup is not unlike a mailing list, if someone posts a message to this group, all subscribed members receive a copy of that message. If someone who receives that message wishes to respond, all one has to do is "reply" to that message. In this way, quite a bit of discussion can be brought to the attention of the Board Members, though the "moderators." The moderators are part of the Technology Committee.
