I enjoyed building and launching model rockets back in the late 60's and early 70's in Ohio. Now, married, with one daughter, we all enjoy loading up the car and heading for the launch field. It helps that there's a really great ice cream parlor around the corner from the launch field. Click on the hyperlink below or follow the links to the left to get to different areas of my site. My Fleet contains information and pictures of my collection of rockets. There's a group photo as well as information about individual rockets. Look for my launch reports to be posted here (in the future). Click on Projects to see some of the experiments I've been working on. You'll find: - An Estes Shadow built for multiple engine configurations. - A Bad Bertha - the beautifully, wicked sister of the Big Bertha. - An Elastic Rocket Accelerator - my unique way to get those heavy rockets up, up and away. In order to reproduce some of my favorite model rockets, I began to cast my own plastic parts. Click on Casting of Model Rocket Parts to see my efforts. My Photo Gallery has some pictures that have come about as a result of this hobby. Nothing too exciting, but each picture a special meaning to me. To make Tapered Cone Adapters out of card stock, you need to create a flat pattern. This page will show you everything you need to do in order to create that flat pattern. So stay a while and look around.
