Bark At The Moon

The sun is out, I dare not embark,
There is too much hope, I stay where it is dark
I cannot see redemption, perhaps that’s for the best
Reminisce for that reason, as I await my test

View the time go bye, repress those I know
If they chance to show, their lives I will blow
There is nothing I can trust, not even I
But my instinct is to serve, serve til I die

I don’t control my destiny, but I chose my path
Spilt the blood of innocents, gave my soul a laugh
Now my soul is silent, intent held with chains
Cursed to side against me, cursed to view my pains

Reflection must be broke, cuz the mirror tells no lies
I am not a good man, I can see it through his eyes
Break the glass with flesh, my hurt creates a smile
I think I’ll find out who I am, this may take a while

[The darkness has gone down, I can see the light
The midnite sun has rose, their pain is in my sight
I am not a good man, I’m not made of bad
I am cloaked by a vision, to cure the sad
Pain will test their evil, will they bare my mark
Pain will test my journey, will their bodies line with chalk
Moon will turn blood red, if my task is done
Moon will share my pain, once vengeance has begun]

The sun don’t work, that light aint right
In bed I lurk, the nights my fight
The only bright I trust, don’t come from fire
In the dark I must, the Moon don’t let me tire

In the shadows I must follow, I aint feel no threat
Dark my soul is hollow, the beams light my silhouette
I march on darken brick, towards that evil bitch
My mind is but a trick, I turn the mental switch

We wish for souls to cry, because we hate the wait
When innocent blood is spilled , our veins will fill with hate
Our destiny is clear, we can now escape our chains
We march without the fear, we march without the pain

The hood blocks our eyes, so the fury he wont know
Don’t think it lets them hide, he will feel every blow
Our madness holds by but a thread, his life will feel our might
The vengeance will make him dead, at the hands of the Moon Knight!

[The darkness has gone down, we can see the light
The midnite sun has rose, their pain is in our sight
We are not good men, we aren’t made of bad
We are cloaked by a vision, to cure the sad
Pain will test their evil, will they bare our mark
Pain will test our journey, will their bodies line with chalk
Moon will turn blood red, if our task is done
Moon will share our pain, once vengeance has begun]

Evil blood has spilt, gore is on the streets
The unlucky escape our marks, but their faces lye our feet
The rest will spread the myth, beware of our dream
If they choose to awake, we will here the screams
Midnite sun has set, do I know now who I am
I fear the answer hides, so til then I am damned
Every night poses questions, so the answer may come soon
Perhaps it comes tonight, while I bark at the moon.
