| New members of the Mixed Harmony Barbershop Quartet Association
(MHBQA), Don, DeeDee, Alan and Cathy join together to bring their unique blend of
harmony in "Mixed Emotions". Tenor is sung by DeeDee, Lead by Don,
Baritone by Cathy and Bass by Alan. In August they competed for the first time in the 13th Annual Buckeye Invitational. The competition was held at the Palace Theater in Columbus Ohio. Don and Alan are members of the Frederick Catoctones Chorus , which is the 2001 Small Chorus Champion for the Mid Atlantic District of SPEBSQSA Inc. Don and Alan are also members of local Frederick Quartets Western Maryland Connection and Friends R Four. DeeDee and Cathy are members the Clustered Spires Chorus of Sweet Adelines International and also sing together in their SAI quartet Forget-Me-Not where DeeDee sings baritone and Cathy sings bass. |
