Melissa is a Voice Teacher who teaches a wide variety of styles - broadway,pop,rock, r&b and counrty. Her method of teaching works for all styles. Always positive- Melissa builds not only powerful voices - but self-esteem. Her students audition for American Idol,Arizona Idol,America's most talented kids, Star Search, Nashville Star and Rock Star Supernova. From broadway to rock - Melissa's approach will have you singing through your entire range- high and low - as easily as you speak.
Congratulations to one of Melissa's former students JORDIN SPARKS !!! Jordin is the newest American Idol for 2007 ! Jordin was a voice/piano student in this studio at one time, and we all knew she would make it to the top !!! It was an honor and priviledge to have had her in my studio.
In Melissa's female-only studio, students are provided with a loving, friendly environment. Your musical, vocal and artistic abilities are developed carefully and professionally, with attention to your individuality. Children, as well as teens, access their musical abilities in an upbeat " no pressure " atmosphere. Adults are also welcome! This method of study is presented by a classically trained musician with a Masters Degree in music - schooled at Oklahoma City University, the University of Central Oklahoma and the Aims Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. Your childrens talents such as piano, singing, rhythm, ear training, site reading and performance are all developed in this studio. Individual lessons are set-up where the pace is suited to each students needs so that they look forward to and enjoy their music lessons. Group voice lessons give kids and teens a chance to take lessons with friends. Parents love splitting the cost as well !!
