| Brenda represented Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe Pageant, May 1994. The competition took place in the Philippines. Brenda did not place among the Top Ten, but was one of the most talked about delegates. That year, the first runner up was Miss Colombia, Carolina Gomez Correa. The winner was India's Sushmita Sen. |

| As for her career, Brenda has alternated TV hosting, modeling and studying. Some highlights are her 1997 TV show "Viva el Viernes" and a steamy calendar. Brenda has also been married twice and is the mother of three children. She currently owns a modeling academy. She also co-hosted for a period a TV show for Univision PR, called "Que Suerte". On February though May 2005 Brenda faced American justice due to a shop lifting scandal she was involved in the city of Orlando, Florida, USA. |

| Brenda also represented Puerto Rico in the International Queen of Coffee Pageant in Colombia. She won that title for the island in 1994. |
