John A. Chao Scholarship At Cleveland State University

This Scholarship Fund is being estiblished at the Cleveland State University (CSU) to promote greater understanding between American and Chinese and to increase international academic exchange programs between CSU and sister univeristies in China or Taiwan.

It provides financial support to CSU students/scholars studying/doing research in China or Taiwan; and Chinese students from China or Taiwan studying at CSU to honor Professor John A. Chao for his excellent services to the universty community, and for international recognition on his scholarly work, especially for his instrumental dedication in establishing collaborative relations between CSU and various Chinese Universities. He was much loved and highly respected by his colleagues and students.

The Scholarship Fund is estiblished with gifts from faculty, staff, and friends of Professor John A. Chao and any other gifts designated to the John A. Chao Endowed Scholarship Fund.
For those who are the CSU Faculty and Staff, please designate your gift to the John J. A. Chao Endowed Scholarship Fund via the Faculty and Staff Appeal Donation Card with the John A. Chao gift accunt number 20358-80351. Or simply send your contribution to the John A. Chao Scholarship Fund Committee:
