Hi! My name is Miriam Kook. I am so excited that you have come to visit my page. I call my page "Fruit-Bearers" because we who are grafted into the true Vine, Jesus Christ, can expect to bear incredibly luscious fruit in due season. Why? Because He supplies us with all that we need to live a life of fruitfulness. I've spent numerous "dry" seasons, and have experienced the agony of having my most fruitful boughs pruned by the Master Gardener- but you and I have the promise that if we "remain in Him" through these seasons of change we will bear more and sweeter fruit!!!
A little about me:
--I am 46 years old, I live in Columbia, Md.
--I am married to Doug for 25 years and have three wonderful children (Shoshanna- 24; Aaron- 20; and Arielle- 10) and a very loving son-in-law David, (Shoshanna's husband)
--We also have a yellow lab named Sam who loves to pray!
--I became a believer in Jesus Christ when I was 18 (I'll do the math: that's 28 years ago)
--I was born in a Jewish family and have an incredible story of how my husband and I became believers (see link below)
--I've been writing music since I was 8 years old and playing the piano since I was 4, but the first song I wrote as a believer (see "Lift Up Your Eyes" ) was the first time I had written something from my heart
I love Jesus Christ with my whole heart because, as He said, "He (or she!) whom I have forgiven the most, he/she loves me the best". I've been forgiven for much and I long to serve Him with every part of my being.
