A.C.198

It had a short time after Major Ordway had met the former Gundam pilot, known as Trowa Barton. After checking through OZ records and the Preventer records, there was no doubt in his mind that this was the pilot of the Gundam 03. Ordway looked at his robotic arm, it was three years ago when he lost his arm fighting against Gundam 03 in Siberia. Now he had this robotic hand, that with the technology of the era was highly advanced. Still, for a long period of time, he had longed for the day when he would meet with this pilot, to get even with him. Not only for the loss of his arm, but for the loss of numerous OZ soldiers that had been killed in battle.
Still he had known Trowa quite well, and was well acquainted with his sister Catherine. He doubted that Catherine knew about Midii. Coster's last orders were to help Midii in any he could to find this guy. Now after three years, Ordway had been able to find Midii and had met Trowa. He never told Trowa about his past, or anything about Midii. He shook his head slightly as he sealed the envelope and placed it in the pile of outgoing mail on his desk.

Midii walked into the Preventer's Headquarters building and was directed to an office on the second floor. A week ago she had received a letter from Major Ordway requesting a meeting with her regarding some new information about Trowa. She had not been expecting this, but with the problems she was having, this was a welcome advancement. She vaguely remembered Ordway, but recalled the empty coat sleeve hanging at his side. She got to the office marked and saw Ordway standing by the door. He looked far more worn then when she saw him three years ago, the stress had taken a toll on him, but it was him.
Ordway stood in wearing a Preventer uniform, he smile at Midii. "Well, Ms. Une, I haven't seen you for a while." Midii nodded, "I came as soon as I got your letter." Trowa came out of the office, looking for Ordway to ask him about one of the various projects the Preventers were working on. His eyes met with Midii's. "Midii?"
Midii looked at Trowa, "No name?"
Midii put her arms around Trowa, and looked into his eyes. Trowa held her lightly in his arms, at a complete loss for words. Ordway got the papers off his desk and got ready to leave, "I'll let you two be alone, better get home Trowa. By the way, send my regards to Catherine." Ordway walked out of the room, and told Mitchell to take over.
Midii felt tears stream down her face, for the past eight years they had been apart, now after all this time they were together. Trowa could still see the vision brought on by the Wing Zero. "Midii, I'm sorry."
Trowa lightly kissed Midii and felt her embrace, they had left together, and went out to talk about all that happened. They had come to terms, they had left there pasts behind.

Ordway stood outside the base looking at the line of mobile suits. Members of the sweeper organizations had been called in, they were cutting apart the mobile suits with torches, and sold them off for scrap. Once the most feared weapons in the world would soon be nothing more then a memory. Ordway walked alone down the street. Trowa and Midii would finally be together and both finally end there search and be happy. Not much else to say on the matter. Ordway looked at his robotic arm, and said under his breathe, "This is ironic."

A few days had passed, Midii and Trowa laid in bed. Eight years ago, they had met on the battlefield, on opposing sides, children caught up in war. As the time passed, they had gone separate ways, and had witnessed the final battles and seen the coming of piece. Behind both of them were the twisted wreckages of mobile suits, and the bodies of the soldiers who had piloted them. Neither would be able to forget their pasts, but now they had found each other. They had put the past behind them and were ready to go forward. The night in the woods in 190 didn't seem to matter any more. They would not live the past anymore.
Trowa looked at Midii, who after all this time was able to rest. She could stop looking for Trowa, and rest her blistered feet. Since he was very young, Trowa had been without emotion, something had changed with in him. Midii had made him remember, he loved her. Trowa whispered, "I love you."
Midii smiled lightly, "That all you have to say?"
They kissed.
