Colony C-421

Note: This story takes place during and after the events of Episode 43.


No one expected the turn of events to go by so quick. Major Ordway reported into the Earth's Headquarters to meet with the new unit he had been assigned. He looked at the orders from Trieze himself, that he was to take command of a unit of Commandos, specially trained in space combat, for action in the coming war with in space. While the majority of Taurus suits had been destroyed, the majority of the forces preparing to head into space were inferior Space Leos. Plans were being made to give his the OZ suit, the Serpent. But with production difficulties, it seemed unlikely that any of these new suits would be ready.
He worked his robotic arm, getting use to it as best he could before the battle. It had only been a few weeks since he had gotten it, and made piloting a mobile suit far easier then using one arm. I didn't feel quite right, but it did make things easier.

Midii looked around the Colony, the uneasy peace of a few weeks ago had passed, and with the destruction of OZ's Fortress Barge by the White Fang, a build up in this colony of White Fang troops at Libra was going on. She walked back to the hotel she was staying at. They had tried to recruit her, thinking she was an Alliance deserter, and tried to get Midii to go back to being a spy here in space. Midii looked a the metallic colony walls, she was tired of fighting on earth, she had seen far too much death there, and now that she was in space, she refused to be a part of it here.
The search for Trowa had been frustrating. In the middle of a chaotic war, she was searching for one guy, who could have been already killed, or part of either side. Nothing seemed certain. Midii looked at the circus posters, for all she knew he could be part of the circus. She would probably not be able to travel to the next colony until things died down with the White Fang and OZ.

At the gate of Colony 421, Colonel Reno moved his force around the main gate getting ready to force his way inside. His force was a probably one of the largest groups of OZ Space Force troops left. After the collapse of Fortress Barge, all of OZ's forces left out in space had been constantly harassed by the White Fang, and his unit was no different. His unit was out on a routine mission, trying to stop the spread of the White Fang when Barge was attacked. He had attempted to return back, but was too late. Barge had fallen.
Reno looked into space at a small spec of light, a man made star. The Libra battleship had been seized from OZ at the start of the rebellion, and was an insult against the units pride. To let such a massive weapon, with such destructive power fall carelessly into the White Fangs hands was a mistake. Without any way to escape, Reno made a choice, the idea did not sit well with him but the Libra had to be stopped. Use the colony as hostages and get the White Fang to hand over the Libra and end the war.
"Colonel Reno, we have gotten through." Reno watched as the suits of his unit went inside. "Leave a unit of Taurus suits out here to defend the perimeter. Send a demand out to the colony citizens and to the White Fang."


After the battle at C-421, Trowa returned with the other Gundam pilots to Peacemillion. With his memory finally returned, he could see all those painful events of his past. He knew he had to return to Catherine, and his home, but his thoughts wandered back to the blonde haired girl he met all those years ago. After the war he would have to find her. The fault of getting his memories, he recalled the good memories and the painful ones. Of all the actions he had made in the war, leaving her behind was his only regret. He would do what ever it takes, to make things right. He showed no emotion on his face. He approached Peacemillion and prepared to bring the Wing Zero in.

Midii walked alone back to her hotel room, moving past the crowd as it slow dispersed back. Tension was still high, now that the Earth Forces have been provoked, the war would continue. More pointless death would continue. She prayed that if Trowa was part of the battle that he would make it out. She would find him.
As Midii walked back she watched the colony police take in the remaining OZ soldiers that were captured by the Gundams. They were marched back, still wearing the heavy OZ military space suits. For them the war was over.

Reno walked back with his men, his gamble had failed miserably. Trieze looked on his plan with displeasure, the majority of his force was wiped out, the White Fang still had control of Libra. With the upcoming battle and being held in the colony, he would not be able to aid his comrades. They would be going out soon, to take on the Libra, and would certainly take heavy losses. The war would continue. He didn't understand why Trieze wouldn't agree to his plan.

Major Ordway stood at the ready with his unit. The White Fang had attacked Earth and the orders had been passed down final preparations were made before the great battle. Reports were that the White Fang was using Virgos. Ordway clenched his fist, it was just like what happened Task Force 27. Coster's unit was using Leos, and his whole unit was wiped out by Virgos. Ordway refused to let that happen to his unit.

Note: Reno is based on an unnamed OZ with a thin mustache in episode 43 as the officer who appears in command and is forced to surrender to Duo.
