Joanne & Maddie meet  ITP/AIHA Success Story Dogs, Midnight & Marty

The many  friendships that I  have  formed  over the years with AIHA/ITP owner/caregivers  are some of the great joys of  my life.  When Michelle, the owner/caregiver of "Midnight the Miracle ITP Dog",   invited me to an agility competiton   that  she and May 2004 Success Story  owner/caregiver, Karon,  were planning on  participating  in,  I was thrilled to to have the opportunity to meet these long time "net friends" . On June 12, 2004 my husband, David,  canine kid, Maddie and I attended the "Canine Agility of Central Minnesota" Agility Trials. What it joy it was to meet Michelle and Karon and  watch their wonderful canine companions participate in the agility  trials.  After the completion of  the   trials, I was able to visit with Michelle and Karon. I also received "kisses" from Midnight and a handshake from Marty.  Watching Midnight and Marty run agility reminded me once again, that not only can dogs survive AIHA or ITP, they can also THRIVE and go on to live  happy, healthy lives.  May this brief glimpse into Midnight and Marty's lives give you the HOPE you need to keep fighting AIHA or ITP.
