About Us

Looking around at the various shelters, we were disturbed to see a growing number of pedigree, or look-a-like cats being picked up as strays or relinquished by their owners. We knew that now more then ever it was time to take action and prevent these beautiful (and often misunderstood) cats from being destroyed.

Sage: Ebony Oriental Short Hair; Kicked down the stairs and then stuffed in a shoe box and stomped on as a kitten; she spent months on cage rest repairing her seperated hips. She has recovered and is living in the lap of luxury with her new brother Cole.

Rico Suave: Seal Point Traditional Siamese. Unneutered stray; he was hanging around a High School trying to pick girls. ;-) He is currently neutered and living indoors.

Stirfry: Blue-point Snowshoe; he was found in a driveway and siblings or Momma Cat were never located. Tragically, he contracted panleukopenia and lost the fight.

Meezer Pleasers Siamese Cat Rescue, Inc. was founded to: Encourage and promote responsible cat ownership and reduce the abuse and neglect of Siamese and Oriental Breed cats through rehabilitation and adoption. Our goals are to  promote the humane treatment of cats and accept for placement unwanted Siamese and Oriental Cats, care for them medically, neuter them, and facilitate their placement into caring homes.

Captain Red: Red Point Color-point short Hair; Left behind in an empty house when owner moved in with allergic significant other. Deceased: August 21st, 2000 (pyothorax) We dedicate our efforts to his memory.
