Our poster display was placed on a reserved table in a high traffic area at Simon Fraser University. The hall and the large number of people passing the area regularly is exhibited in the first picture. At the table, we were having a second-hand sale to raise money for World Vision's 30-hour famine that took place on April 1st and 2nd, 2005 (www.worldvision.ca) and decided to put the display on the table as they are both related to global issues. We did that because while people were looking at the various items at our table, we would hand out pamphlets. And if they were willing, they would listen to our presentation regarding the issue of maternal death.
We were at our table from 10am-4pm on Thursday March 31st and throughout the day, there was a fairly consistent amount of people that were interested in listening and looking at our presentation.
