I am Mini Jyothish, Structural Engineer by education, but work with computers/internet for a living. I graduated from NSS College of Engineering(Palakkad) and did my post graduation from College of Engineering Trivandrum. I am originally from Kerala - "God's own country”. We (I, my husband Jyothish and our son Akash) live in Connecticut, a small, beautiful state near NewYork.

My hobbies are cooking, music, movies and above all spending time with my son. I usually cook Kerala recipes, but I like to try all sorts of food. I started cooking when I was in high school (to surprise my Mom once in a while). After marriage I kept trying new things since Jyothish likes to eat all kinds of food and Akku is a picky eater. This explains my pretty long recipe list. We now like a lot of other cuisines, the favourites being Malay, Vietnamese, Thai, Greek/MiddleEastern, Mexican, Chinese and Italian in that order (Akku likes them in the reverse order though).

Coming to music, I love listening to music. I like all sorts of music and I sing reasonably well too. I have performed on the stage on numerous occasions during my college days (both in and outside college). Jyothish and I are good movie fans. Before marriage I used to watch only Malayalam movies and a little bit of Hindi and Tamil movies. I was under the impression that all English movies were action movies (which was not to my taste). After marriage I started watching a lot of good English movies with Jyothish and then realized what had I missed till then. Even Jyothish started enjoying Malayalam movies with me. My all time favourite movies are Swathi Thirunal (Malyalam), Sindu Bhairavi (Tamil), and Sound Of Music(English).
