| Project Information Project Title: The Three Pigs Project Dates: 1/1/04-4/1/04 Project Summary: Read and compare several versions of The Three Pigs. Write and Illustrate your own version. View your stories and illustrations after they have been published on-line. Educators: Submit your story, illustration, and any digital pictures of your houses and/or puppets (extension activities) to this web site to be posted and communicate through e-mail with others in the project. Project Extensions: 1.) Create houses representing the houses of the three pigs. Take digital pictures to send in to this web site. 2.) Create puppets and retell story 3.) Using a computer program like Neighborhood Map Machine by Tom Snyder Productions, create a map to the three pigs house. Project Level: Grades K-3 Curriculum : Language Arts, Project email: mcoutureteaches@yahoo.com Project Instructions: E-Mail the project sponsor of your desire to participate. Give your name, school, address, email address, and projected completion date of your activities. Submit your story, illustration and any digital photos within two weeks of your completion date. Feel free to change the setting, characters, ending, etc. Send in your stories, illustrations, and digital pictures (if you have taken some), etc. After they have been posted, communicate with others that have participated, to ask questions and communicate about their versions. Technology Required: This activity can be completed in a one computer classroom. The necessary technology is a computer, tv-computer hook-up to view stories and illustrations after they have been published. Optional technology needed: digital camera if you would like to take digital photos, scanner to scan stories and illustrations. Az.
