This franco-manitoban singer-songwriter has charmed her loyal french audiences for several years. Now, with her new english material and her pure enchanting voice, she is reaching out to a new audience.

Her songs tell her story.
Her music shares her heart.
Her voice reveals her soul.

Marie-Claude has been composing since she was 15 years old. At the age of 18, she was a semi-finalist at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby. In 1992, she was declared laureate of the Gala interprovincial de la chanson in the singer-songwriter category. This western-canadian competition also awarded her the best original song, the media award, as well as the public's choice award. In 1994, Marie-Claude recorded her first CD Comme tu es , a demo containing six of her french songs.

Marie-Claude has performed from Vancouver to Montreal, participating in numerous festivals, as well as several radio and televised broadcasts with CBC, TV5, TVO and TVA. She has opened for well-known French-Canadian artists such as Laurence Jalbert, Marie-Denise Pelletier and Marie-Jo Thrio. She has performed in large productions with artists like Daniel Lavoie, Hart Rouge and Richard Sguin. She is also known for her great back-up abilities and is often hired by CBC to do back-ups for TV, radio and studio work.

Music and theatre take up most of Marie-Claude's time. When she is not performing, she teaches music and dramatic arts in schools. She's also written music for le Cercle Molire and for others upon request. She's worked with le Cercle Molire for several years as an actress, stage manager and director.

Though theatre is an important part of Marie-Claude's artistic career, music will always be her first love. She will continue to touch audiences with her songs, and her voice.
