Biography:
I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and received my Doctorate in Economics from the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde in the late 1990s. Thereafter, I worked at Strathclyde University, the International Monetary Fund, the University of Kent and at the European Commission. I presently work in Frankfurt.
My research interests, though restricted to applied macro, are very wide - see my "Research Activities" link. My most recent research interests include production-function modelling, analysing monetary policy reaction functions, and Bayesian DSGE modelling.
