Welcome to my web page. On January 5, 2003 I was injured playing football after church with some friends of mine at Lonoke High School. I received a blow to the left side of my head which caused a bleed and I was in a coma for 21 days. Ive come a long way since then. I was moved to Timber Ridsge Ranch Neuro Rehabilitation Center were I lived and wentthrough extensive rehabilitation to bring me back to academic, physical, and mental health and awareness. I have since returned home as of August 8, 2003 and have returned to my high school. I have out patient therapies there and mom is getting me outside therapies after school. I am up and walking on my own now. I still have some right side weakness in my right leg and arm, but I am getting stronger everyday. I had some serious memory loss in the beginning but I have regained a lot of it back. There is still about a year and a half that I have literally "forgotten", but I have a close family and very close freinds to remind me of the times I have lost. One of the biggest deficits I still have to work on is my speech. I try very hard to talk but everyone has a hard time understanding me. So with the help of doctors and by the grace of God, I hope to be able to talk again real soon.
