Matola Hash runs 
on the last Sunday of every month starting at 12.30, 
we (family hash, average pack 25-50 walkers and runners) usually
run out of town in bush or farmland, sometimes on the beach. Runs begin with a
beer at the start and there is always a beer stop. We circle at the end of the
trail and stay on for lunch wherever we are, either as a bush or house braai or
at a restaurant or barraca (informal bar), often out in the sticks. Details of
the location are announced on this web site 2 weeks beforehand and are also
published on the Maputo H3 e mail group and at Maputo Hash circles.
We
do regular away events, (Elephant Hash (s), Jays, Swazi, even golfing! we
have flyers and write ups etc). Sometimes this means that we vary the date
to a Sunday that is not the last Sunday of the month. We have also been the
main organisers of two international pre-ambles to Africa Interhash - The
Kili-Ma-Ramble and the Africa X-Press.
Founded
on 25th May 2003. Our annual anniversary ball is held in May or June every
year.
