Florite is a mineral famous for its many colors caused by hydrocarbons within the stone. Fluorite can be found in clear, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown and in golden tones. Each of these colors can vary in intensity as well. Fluorite is a member of the Quartz family, the green variety is often called Chinese green quartz rather than fluorite, but it is softer and will break more easily than quartz.
Some types of Fluorite have fluorescent qualities from elements, unbonded Fluorine or organic matter found inside the crystal. The Red and Green Fluorite crystals do become phosphorescent if heated to the boiling point of water. The active element Fluorine can be found in Flourite, it is poisonous and one of the most active elements in nature. Flourine if mixed with sulfuric acid can produce deadly HF(hydrofluoric) gas. This HF is sometimes used in industry to etch glass.

Magically Fluorite is a new stone in use. Its influences are just now being discovered. Because it is both air and fire energy it is said to be able to help dispel chaotic tendencies, and replaces them with harmony and order. Tekites are small glassy bodies found in several regions of the world. They come in various shapes; droplets, buttons, even dumbbells. Tekites are attributed to meteoric or cometary impacts. Earthly collisions melt quartz grains and splash the liquid droplets into the atmosphere where they cool and fall back to the earth.
Magically they are used as talismans to bring wealth and fertility. They are said to help balance female and male energies.
I have not tested each of these stones and all their magical properties so can not verify the properties any stone is said to possess. Back to
