I am currently working as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, TX. I am working part-time in a Master's-level Family Nurse Practitioner program through Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I'm also a Navy Reserve Officer, Nurse Corps; one weekend a month finds me drilling at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth.

Matt and I married in a garden ceremony on March 10, 2006. Our son Ethan was born on January 25, 2007. In the little free time I have now that I'm a full-time mom, I spend time with Matt, study, play with Ethan, work around the house, bathe, feed and dress Ethan, study, take Ethan for walks, and study some more. I also enjoy reading, writing, sewing, home decorating projects, and, when it's warm enough, swimming.
