Cyclamen hederifolium |

Cyclamen hederifolium is a wonderful plant. Here in the UK it is easy outside and is a joy for about nine months of the year. In the autumn it produces pure white, pink or deep pink flowers either with or without the foliage. The foliage is very variable, a very typical form is shown above but many selections have much bolder patternings or are silver all over. |

Another plant of hederifolium with mauve Geranium pyrenaicum "Bill Wallis" and one of the bronze Carex species in the back ground.
Below plants showing the extent of the range of flower colour.Plants like the one on the left are now appearing in resonably stable strains such as "Ruby strain". The white hederifolium is easily obtainable and just as vigourous in the garden. |
