Bulger was born on 5 th April 1977 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania . He holds 4 years of NFL experience and plays for St. Louis Rams as No.10 quarterback. He marked his debut with the New Orleans Saints in 2000. He joined Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh . He enrolled himself as the member of the National Honor Society. As a senior he played in Pennsylvania Big 33 Classic after attempting passes for 1,662 yards. He is also an avid basketball and baseball player. He also signed to become the member of West Virginia Athletic Director's Academic Honor Roll. Bulger's father, James played as a quarterback for Notre Dame for 1 season (1970-71). |

He is still a bachelor and resides in Ladue , MO. During his formative years in high school, Bulger had no inclination towards the sport until he threw for more than 1,600 yards and earned a good position in the all-city team. Bulger made his first collegiate start against Marshall in the 1997 opener and delivered a dazzling performance. In 1997, his 353-yard passing performance against the Yellow Jackets was the most recorded by any quarterback in a bowl game in 1997.
