Welcome to the Maple Summit Snowmobile Club!

Club Picnic/Pig Roast

Saturday, August 1 at 1:00 p.m.

The Maple Summit Snowmobilers are pleased to announce our summer club picnic featuring the second annual summer pig roast.  Once again, the cooking will be done by world-renowned International Australian Chef, Harold Kofler.

Harold Kofler has roasted porkers around the world and pleased hungry people every time.  If you don't care for roast pig, we will also have hamburgers, hotdogs, keilbassa, soft drinks, and a wide variety of homemade desserts.

LOCATION:  Janice Boyko's retreat at King's Mountain, 231 Sparrow Lane, Rockwood, PA 15557.  Phone - 814-926-2374.

In addition to food, there will be officers from the DCNR - State Parks and State Forest.  The PSSA Regional Director will be presenting the "Government Official of the Year" award.  We will have valuable information about the trail system and a very serious potential threat to our trail system.  We will also have current information about the new restaurant on the trail at Seven Springs.  Officers of the LHSC and Rolling Ridge Snowmowbile Club will be in attendance.  We will be making plans for a snowmobile parts and accessory swap meet.  Plans will be made for upcoming trail projects and other snowmobile-related items.

The picnic is open to all club members and potential club members.  If you would like more information and/or would like to make reservations, call Janice Boyko at 814-926-2374 or 412-885-2537 or Allyson Harcum at 412-664-4552.  Please RSVP by July 24.  Covered dishes are welcome.  Please make plans to attend.  Don't worry about the swine flu, you can't get it from eating swine, just kissing them.
