About the Manning Fire Dept.
  The Manning City Fire Department was formed in 1885. We got our first gas powered fire engine in 1914.  Currently we have a total of 7 fireunits, 7 career, 6 Part-Time career , & 35 paid on call fire personnel.Our fire department is growing at a fast pace. We average about 170 calls a year.

Business hours are 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday-Friday.  There are fire personnel on duty 24/7. Feel free to stop by any time!
