Welcome to our farm located in Calhan, Colorado, the highest non-mountain town in the United States. We are located on the high, rolling eastern plains of Colorado, which has an altitude and climate similar to that of the Welsh ponies native homeland. This environment raises hardy ponies. Our ponies are treated with love and respect, and are allowed to play and be happy, in addition to competing in the show ring. We have been involved with horses all our lives, and breeding Welsh since 1987. Having bred and shown numerous Welsh Champions over the years, we endeavor to have all our breeding stock compete in the show ring,and achieve Championships. But for us, the most rewarding part of breeding Welsh, is the smile on a childs face when they come to pick up their pony, or when they come out of the show ring with that first ribbon and beaming smile. We are the sponsors for the Annual Sportsmanship Award given each year at the Mountains and Plains Annual Welsh Show, and feel the lessons taught to the children by these wonderful ponies are priceless.
