The Maine Home Education Association (MHEA) was founded in 1987. We are in the process of transition so we ask for your patience as we update our website as time allows. If you are currently looking for a support group you might contact the Outschoolers homeschool group or the Central Maine Self-Learners. Both are active inclusive home school groups. You can contact them at outschoolers@yahoogroups.com or http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cmslgroup/. We believe that the best support of our right to homeschool is a large, diverse and well-informed community of homeschoolers.
