2008 Competition in Daytona Beach

The Magic of Manatee Chorus of Sweet Adelines International is a friendly, upbeat, community-oriented organization of women committed to musical growth and to quality performance of four-part barbershop harmony.

We present an annual show in February, are available to provide entertainment for special events and also perform at civic and charitable functions.  We welcome new members.

Lois Van Beek is a Certified Director.  She has been a Sweet Adeline chorus member since 1971 and has directed our Magic of Manatee Sweet Adelines Chorus since1988.  Lois will guide you in deciding what part to sing and help you develop your musical abilities.

Our Assistant Director is Michele Baker.  She is also the Bass Section Leader and the Chairman of our Music Committee.  Michele has been a music educator.  She plays the piano and the clarinet.
