Company History:
In 1997 I adopted a beautiful kitten who was to become known as Luna Moth. Luna immediately took control of our household and the two older male cats and wrapped everyone around her silken paws. To this day, as far as I am concerned, the sun rises and sets in this feline's eyes and nothing is too good for the Baby Goddess. Along with my devotion to the catly wonder, I also found inspiration. Luna's huge golden eyes and multi-colored fur re-awakened my long love of art and gave me the desire to once again draw, paint and photograph the world around me.
My favorite subject is of course Luna Moth herself, but I cannot ignore the other companion animals I share my life with, nor the wonders of the gardens I love or the natural world that gives us all life. I am very involved in environmental conservation and animal welfare and hope that in some small way my artwork can bring some awareness to how beautiful and fragile the world and animals around us are, without belaboring the point or being confrontational. I want visitors to Luna Crafts to enjoy these products not only because my ethics and interests inspire them, but because the designs are aesthetically pleasing.
