    I presently teach Office 2007 and Internet exploration to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at the University School of Jackson in Jackson, TN.   I also teach Computer I and Computer II to Upper School students.

     Every Middle School student is enrolled in my course for one quarter each year.  The students become proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, and Microsoft PowerPoint.   The Upper School students will take the course for one semester.
    
    We are so fortunate at USJ to have students who are motivated to learn and are challenged by fun and meaningful projects.

    Each eighth grade computer student will originate his/her own "pretend" business.  Each student will design a logo, flyer, business card, business letter, spreadsheet, store front, store interior, and PowerPoint to advertise the business.  An Opening Day Celebration will conclude the nine-week course.
