This is our little sweetie. He was born March 7, 2001. At 5 months of age he was diagnosed with a progressive neuromuscular disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 (Werdnig-Hoffman disease) He is now 15 months old and is as happy as can be. He is now on bipap at night and doing great with it, he actually sleeps all night. He also has an inexsuffulator, pulse ox, apnea monitor, suction machines, nebulizer, and oxygen if needed. With everything he has been through, he has kept his beautiful smile and has showed us what a fighter he is. God has given us a challenge that we are so happy to accept.
