I'm standing on the bridge, I'm waiting in the dark,
I thought that you'd be here by now,
There's nothing but the rain, no footsteps on the ground,
I'm listening, but there's no sound
Isn't anyone tryin' to find me? Won't somebody come take
me home?...
I'm looking for a place, I'm searching for a face,
Is anybody here I know?
'Cause nothing's going right, and everything's a mess,
And no one likes to be alone.
Isn't anyone tryin' to find me? Won't somebody please take
me home?...
(exerpts from the hit song, "I'm With You", by Avril Lavigne
and the Martix)
lAST UPDATE: April 22, 2005
Important Information!
Lowcountry Boxer Rescue is currently in an
INACTIVE operational status. We are unable to take ANY rescues at
this time and until further notice. If you wish to contact us with
information about an available dog, you may do so with the understanding
that we are only able to network the information as potential homes contact
us in search of a dog. Please do not contact us with "emergency"
or last minute information, as it would be nearly impossible for us to
find something before you have to euthanize or abandon your pet for convenience
reasons. If there is a legitimate reason for having to place your
Boxer, such as a death in the family (death of immediate owner), indefinite
hospitalization, or a MILITARY move that can be confirmed with a copy of
transfer orders, WITH A MINIMUM of 30 days notice to us, we will do everything
possible to help you find a home for your Boxer.
We hope to be back up to a full operational
status in the not so distant future. Space, time, and funds will
determine our reopening. We hope that at that time, we will have
a facility to house unwanted and abandoned Boxers in larger numbers, while
they await a forever home.
Those in search of a loving family member,
please don't hesitate to contact us with your information and desires for
adopting. We still keep a list of Boxers waiting for the perfect
home and family! We'll be happy to direct you to those who are wanting
to place a Boxer.
Thank you for visiting our site on the web
and be sure to check back for further updates!

taught me how to love a Boxer for what they really are. May you be

About us at Lowcountry Boxer Rescue
| Rescuing, rehabilitating,
and rehoming great dogs that deserve a second chance!
Adopt a Boxer for the
ultimate family dog!
Serving the tri-county
(Dorchester, Berkeley, and Charleston) areas of the Lowcountry of South
Carolina; we strive to rescue adoptable dogs from shelters and homes that
are no longer able to keep their dog, and place them in PERMANENT second
chance homes.
Operated by veterinary
technician and current full time mother of two skin kids, Erin Parham;
Lowcountry Boxer Rescue is in it's fifth year of rescuing one dog at a
time. Erin and her husband, James have 3 Boxers presently: Cooper,
Mason, Emma (Noble's Southern Emissary), and a yellow Lab, K.C. Erin
is an owner-handler of Mason and Emma in the conformation show ring as
well. Future plans for Emma and Mason are to begin the BenSar Boxers
bloodline of show, obedience, and companion Boxers. Watch for a future
link to the BenSar Boxers website for updates!
Rescue is not an easy
job, and there's too many sad cases that we can't help, but we do our best
and count on our wonderful adoptive families and foster homes to make the
life of an otherwise doomed Boxer, a little easier. They're too great
of a dog to give up on! Contact us to see how you can help save Boxer. |
