We had been riding gaited horses and mules for a long time when we bought our first two registered walkers... one a shaggy looking seven month old colt by the name of Snip's Black Pride who turned out to be our first awesome herd sire.
That was the start and we have had a herd of registered walkers who represent some of the best old bloodlines.
Our primary concerns as breeders was disposition, conformation, natural gait and preservation of the old bloodlines ...we also had color! Champagne, chestnut, bay, black, sorrel and palomino.
