We are followers of Jesus, led by the Spirit, guided by the Word, examining
the condition of our hearts as we seek to work together in peace and love.

Why are we called "Friends"?

Jesus said:  "You are my friends, if you do what I command you.  No longer do I call you slaves;
for the slave does not know what his master is doing;
but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from my Father,
I have made known to you."  John 14:14-15

 "Where there is no vision, the people perish."  Proverbs 29:18
The Great Commandment:

"Love the Lord your God with
all your heart, and all with all
your soul and with all your mind,
and with all your strength...
Love your neighbor as yourself."
Mark 12:29-31 (NIV)

The Great
Commission:

"Therefore go and make disciples
of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of
the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded
you. And surely, I am with you
always,  to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:19-20. (NIV)
