Prehistoric Ozark Indian Bluffs

The Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri have many bluff overhangs which were once home to Indian Bluff Dwellers of the Archaic period (8,000 B.C. to 1,000 B.C.)

Our land has one of these bluff shelters, hence the name Indian Bluff Farm.

These artifacts are from the nearby Salts Bluff, now under water on Beaver Lake at Point No. 5.
