| Born and raised in Maryland, Linda Lynn knew at the age of 4 that she wanted to be in the music business. Now at the tender age of 18 she's ready to begin her journey. Growing up Lynn always had music around her and was always found singing along. She's always been in the school chorus, and has played both the violin and clarinet. Yet, she has always thought of her voice as her most powerful instrument. "I remember this one time in second grade when I got up in front of the class and sung Reba's hit 'Fancy'. When I got up I forgot half the song. I was embarassed so I sat down after I thought about the words I got back up and finished. It was my first time singing in front of people other than my family." Linda Lynn's influence's come from many different backgrounds. From the country sounds of Reba McEntire, Patsy Cline, and Tammy Wynette. To the rock styles of Blondie, Pat Benetar, and Joan Jett. There is no one way to describe her voice, but all that hear it agree that it's country to the core. |
