*Marlon on His Family

" I dont know. I think we all share a certain point of  view on life, and coming from poverty, the way we looked at things, we were never negative. We always found the joke in it. We ain't eating tonight, ok what's the joke in it. {Laughs} Well, lets find some comedy, you know. That's just the way our family deals with things. That's the way we deal with our pain.
We find the comedy."
*Marlon on Girls

"Girls are strong. I use to have dreams about girls ripping my clothes off, but in reality them girls are too damn strong. They start ripping skin off. One time four thousand girls chased us in a mall, me and Shawn (his brother). It was scary. Big girls. Big chops."

Interview by Hollywood Movie Talk

*Marlon on The Wayans Bros.

"First of all, I think alot of critics were responding to the first season of the show, when we were plagued with bad writing, and my brother [co-star Shawn] and I were trying to overcompensate for the lack of story and the lack of emotional contigency in the script. Second, I think they reacted late, and third, the audience really loves our show. I think some of the critics who were criticizing our show don't really watch it. I don't think our show is negative: It's about two brothers who are trying to make it in this world, and it's all about family. Me, I think family is the key, and if you have love for family, then you have love for others--and you have unity as a people, you know what I'm saying? So, I can't see anything negative about our show right now. If you think physical comedy is negative, then that's your opinion. It's all subjective."
