THE MINING MUSEUM
The foundation of the Mining Museum aimed to meet the curiosity of both native and foreign tourists and specialists, equally eager to discover how exactly our ancestors extracted gold. Unquestionably valuable evidence has been diligently collected and carefully preserved to demonstrate the existence of a millenniums old tradition of this occupation. As it can be seen from the schematic total view, the museum has two sections: one in the open and the other in a specially arranged building. Galleries and installations, whether simple or complex, as well as archaeological exhibits and pictures inform the visitor about the way in which native inhabitants used to live toiling to extract this precious metal - GOLD.
