| Welcome to Lia's ark a small rabbitry in north east Ohio. I breed Holland Lops and Polish. Lia's Ark was established in the spring of 2004, when a friend's son lost interest in his pet rabbit, Snowball. Snowball, a broken tortoiseshell Holland Lop senior doe, needed a new home. I immediately fell in love with the charming little Holland Lop. Since Snowball's arrival things have ...well...snowballed I breed for type and personality. The Holland Lop is the smallest of the lop eared breeds of rabbits weighing in at 3 pounds. The breed generally weighs between 2-4 pounds. The breed is known for its personality and make wonderful pets. Hollands come in a multitude of colors black, blue, lilac, siamese sable, orange and chinchilla to name a few. I have solids and brokens in tortoiseshell (black and blue), black and sable point. Hollands are easily litter trained. I have even clicker trained them. I have also ventured into the polish breed. They are smaller then my Hollands weighing between 2-3.5 pounds. They are finer boned and less bulky then hollands. I breed black and chocolate Polish. After much consideration I am selling all my Polish. I need the cage space tofocus o my Hollands. |
