today's one of those days when i have nothing to do but bum around the house yet i'm not complaining.. i guess every once in a while we need those bum days.. especially since i have to prepare myself for yet another stressful registration day tomorrow. ARGH. i HATE reg. * * * one of the disadvantages of having an online journal is that in a way, you're writing for an audience; you have to be careful of what you write unless you want death threats sent to your inbox.. * * * no one goes online anymore.. at least from the group of regular chatters who always go online before.. like 3 years ago.. probably everyone else has something to do. and i still don't.. hehe.. at least for the past few days. * * * i really want to go shopping..

what's to love about the sem break? no deadlines, no time tables, no definite schedules.. it doesn't really matter what day it is or what time it is for that matter.. for a while, we'd let our minds rest and not worry about traffic, about rushing things up all the time because there's never too much time for schoolwork.. for a few weeks, we actually have time to go to the dentist or the doctor or the salon, we have time to cut our nails, to sort our growing pile of hand-outs, to re-establish friendships that have been put aside because of the hell sem... why does it sound so much like a war aftermath..

my nieces finally found a third character to complete their powerpuff girls tandem... bubbles the puppy.. it has been almost 10 years since we last got a dog (patti & bianca not counted. kidding.), and eversince we had one in the house again, the atmosphere around here suddenly switched to friendly mode.. maybe it has something to do with our innate maternal characteristic to cater to cute, furry animals.. wait, i don't think that was ever discussed in class.. oh well. who cares? it's not as if my physio teacher would hunt me down just 'cause i can't get facts straight. she won't do that, would she? by the way, that's my 3-year old niece bianca with bubbles in the pic... * * * i can't believe i only have 11 more days before school starts. when i was in high school, i always envied college people for having a month long sem break. month long? how come we only have 3 measly weeks to rest ??? it's not enough for us to recuperate from the emotional, psychological distress we've gone through for the past sem... i'm sure some of us still have nightmares about baclotan and jesuit priests and extraneous variables... and hell weeks and psycho teachers and philo orals and D's and F's and UAAP championships... * * * i finally fixed all the links in our block website. visit our site for a few laughs.. if you're really lucky, you might even come across judy anne santos' pic..
